Hippocampal Development and Sleep-Dependent Memory Consolidation in Pre-Schoolers
Researcher: Riggins, Tracy
Description: This study looks at pattern separation in children which is the ability to store and discriminate similar, but not identical, memories. Young children are asked to play a memory game while inside the MRI scanner. We aim to identify brain activity associated with the identification and discrimination of similar, identical, and novel images that children see.
