Hand Holding Study

Researcher

Description

The Hand Holding study investigates the extent to which social relationships are helpful when individuals experience stress.

The purpose of this study is to learn about how social relationships may be helpful in times of stress.  We are studying how people with and without schizophrenia or other serious mental illness experience social relationships so that we can compare information across groups.  Our goal is to use this information to identify ways to assist individuals with schizophrenia in forming good relationships that are helpful in times of stress.
